LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 17, 2012

 

                Enjoy a delightful day of magic, music, fun and light refreshments at the 7^th Annual Hanson Public Library Open House on Saturday, November 17, 2012.  The Open House, sponsored by the Hanson Public Library, Foundation, Inc., will be held at the library from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Visitors will be treated to the musical sounds of Tom Boyer on the piano.  Children's events include a visit from Curious George from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., as well as a magic show featuring award-winning magician David Garrity from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.

 

                David Garrity's "Magic & Beyond" performance features unique visual magic, incredible illusions, audience participation, and comedy. Highlights include a flashy opening in which sunglasses magically appear in a flash of fire and a Houdini-style escape. Space at the magic show is limited, and pre-registration is required.
