Hydrant Flushing Starts Tuesday Oct.14th

HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTIFICATION

Starting on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 thru November; the Water Department will be flushing hydrants.

The flushing hours will be Monday –Thursday 7:00 P.M. to 12:00A.M.

We will be in the Monponsett section of town.   During flushing hours, you may experience rusty water.  If this should happen, drain off your water heater as soon as the water clears.   Also; please avoid doing laundry during these hours; as your water will be discolored.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  The flushing program is necessary to purge the water mains.
