Transfer Station Closed Monday, June 30th.
The Hanson Transfer Station will be closed to the public all day on Monday, June 30, 2014 for reconfiguration and to prepare for the launch of Pay-As-You-Throw, beginning July 1, 2014.
Pay As You Throw starts July 1st. All Hanson residents who wish to use the Transfer Station will need new orange transfer station sticker by August 1st. Stickers are available in the Board of Health office. Stickers will be issued at no cost, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday evenings 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Trash bags are available at all local retail stores.
