Nomination papers for Hanson's May 17 Town Election are now available at the Town Clerk's office for the following offices:
• Moderator for one-year term;
• Two selectmen for threeyear terms;
• Assessor for three-year term;
• Board of Health for threee-year term;
• Cemetery Commissioner for three-year term;
• Planning Board for a five-year term;
• Housing Authority for a five-year term;
• two Memorial Field trustees for three-year terms;
• two Library trustees for three-year terms;
• School Committee for three-year term and
• Water Commissioners for three-year term.
Potential candidates must sign a statement containing their name, address and town office they seek. The last day to obtain nomination papers is Thursday, March 27 and the papers must be returned to the Town Clerk's office by 5 p.m. Monday, March 31. A minimum of 50 certified signatures of registered voters is necessary for a candidate's name to be placed on the ballot
