Deliciously Green and Clean - 4/25/13
The Hanson Public Library Foundation is pleased to sponsor a 'hands on' night of education and fun in a workshop entitled: Deliciously Green and Clean on Thursday, April 25th at 6:30 p.m.at the library
Kristi Marsh, a breast cancer survivor and author of Little Changes: Tales of a Home Eco-Momics Pioneer, will lead the workshop. "Today, women use a vast number of chemical-based cleaners and other household products to keep their homes clean and fresh. Unfortunately, many of the chemicals in these products are harmful to our bodies. With some easy modifications, we can reduce our family's daily exposure to these harmful ingredients, create a healthier home, AND focus on saving money." The changes recommended in this workshop will save money and help protect the health of family members. The 45-minute presentation will include a hands-on 'make and take' interactive demonstration and a discussion of "alternative" cleaning products vs. DIY (Do It Yourself) products.
The workshop will be followed by an opportunity to purchase Little Changes: Tales of a Home Eco-Momics Pioneer and have the book signed by the author. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free but requires registration Friday, April 19th. Please call 781-293-2151 or email info@hansonlibrary.org to register.
