Public Notices Mosquito Update
According to the Department of Public Health the Town of Hanson risk level for EEE has been elevated to moderate. While the town fields still remain open, the Hanson Board of Health and Board of Selectmen urge residents to take precaution while venturing out between dusk and dawn. Long sleeves and pants as well as mosquito repellant are advisable particularly as we approach late August and early September which is traditionally the period of increased risks related to mosquito breeding populations.
The School Department is monitoring the situation and have mosquito spraying is scheduled for the early hours on Monday morning, August 27th.
