Trivia Night - July 19th
A cash prize of $300 will be awarded to the first place team at the upcoming Hanson Public Library Trivia Night, sponsored by the Hanson Public Library Foundation. This entertaining event will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Camp Kiwanee's Needles Lodge, Rt. 58, Hanson. Trivia buffs from around the area are sure to have a great time fielding questions from Stump! Trivia, a national leader in "trivial" fun. Throughout the evening, participants will compete to win the first place cash award, and a variety of exciting raffle prizes will be awarded as well. The cost of entering the competition is $150 for a table (seats up to 8 people), or $20 for an individual admission. The entry fee includes complimentary popcorn and water, but participants are encouraged to bring their favorite snacks to munch on while pondering the night's questions. A cash bar will also be available. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with questions starting at 7:30. Proceeds from the evening will provide enrichment programs at the Hanson Public Library, including author talks and the annual Library Open House.
