66th Annual Spring Shopping Expo
Please join Dollars for Scholars at the 6th Annual Spring Shopping Expo being held at the Whitman Town Hall on Sunday, April 1, from Noon to 4 p.m. Thirty-plus talented crafters, vendor representatives, and local businesses will be on hand to promote their goods and services. Admission to the Expo is free and open to the public.
The Expo will offer a wide variety of product and talent, including jewelry, handmade tutu's, doll clothes, candles and much more. This is a great opportunity to shop for gifts for Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, weddings and graduations. DFS will also be hosting a baked goods table, a 50/50 raffle and a raffle featuring items donated by the vendors and crafters.
The Spring Shopping Expo is one of many events that enable Dollars for Scholars of Whitman and Hanson to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the two communities. In addition, this year's Expo is part of our ongoing celebration of 50 years of helping students from Whitman and Hanson to achieve their goal of pursuing higher education.
