EEE Forum - Thurs., Sept. 15th

There will be an informational meeting with The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, The Plymouth County Mosquito Control Program, state legislators, public safety officials, and the Hanson Board of Health on Thursday evening

September 15, 2011 at 7:00PM at the Whitman Hanson Regional School regarding the presence of birds and mosquitoes that are infected with Eastern Equine Enchephalitis.

Hanson has been notified by the Dept. of Public Health that mosquitoes carrying the EEE virus have been trapped in Hanson and the DEP has placed Hanson on the moderate risk level.  Residents are urged to use take precautions, including proper attire when outdoors during dusk and dawn.  For additional information regarding EEE please go to the following links:
