The Hanson Water Department would like to update residents on the status of the High Street Tank Rehabilitation Project. The results from the water test have been received and the water in the tower may now be released into our distribution. This evening we will return to the Hanson water supply and disconnect from Brockton. Please be aware we anticipate that there will be discolored water during this transition due to the change in flow of water. Bottled water is still available at the Water Department for customers that experience discoloration. The water ban remains in effect and will be reconsidered after the system has settled down.
