Repairs to the Monponsett Street Water Main will begin Tuesday, May 27th between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The traffic will be reduced to one lane. Please expect delays.
There will be interruption to water service. If you have any questions, please contact the Water Department at 781-447-1200.

2014 Fuel Up to Play 60 Summer Camp
Good Morning,
The Whitman Middle School is currently accepting registrations for WMS Fuel Up to Play 60 Summer Camp. Children in Hanson and Whitman, as well as surrounding towns are welcome to join. The half-day camp will keep your kids active and moving for six weeks. Our program includes Sports, Arts & Crafts, Drama, STEM, and Academic Enrichment and Remediation.
This camp is held at the Whitman Middle School. We accept students entering fourth grade up to students entering ninth grade. Camp is from 8:30am to 11:30am Monday – Friday and runs from June 24 – August 2nd. The cost for the whole six weeks is $180.00; $55.00 per week; or $10.00 per day. This is our seventh year and each year is more affordable and fun than the last!

Hanson moves to Pay-As-You-Throw Trash
Hanson moves to pay-as-you-throw trash
Hanson starting July 1 is requiring that all trash disposed of at the station be placed in town bags that must be purchased at local stores. Residents will need to pay $2 for a 30-gallon bag and $1.25 for a 15-gallon one. Dropping off recyclables will remain free. Or you can hire a company to pick it up for you! Your choice unlike the decision to implement Pay-As-You-Throw!

The Informational Warrants include the recommendations of the Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee. The Annual Town Meeting Warrant includes the budget recommendations for Fiscal Year 2015, which begins on July 1, 2014.
